So many colours! – but not on us. We’re wrapped up for the wintery weather at Floriade.
Tulips are such happy flowers to look at.
This was one of my favourites.
Beautiful tulips.
The patterns created by the tulips was supported by underplanting of similarly coloured flowers.
These tulips were such a deep purple they were nearly black.

The best view of Floriade is from above. The ferris wheel gives a good bird’s eye view.
Each pattern had a theme. Can’t remember what this theme was, but it’s easier to see from the ferris wheel than ground level.

The nightly entertainment was excellent. We were treated to excellent bands and entertainers every night.

Breakfasting at home on our last day at EPIC. The waratah on the table is the flower emblem for NSW. Did you know that the Royal Bluebell is the emblem for ACT? I didn’t.
